Washington, DC, October 23, 2007 - Washington DC based Digital Agency Janmedia Interactive recently announced the completion of a new web branding project for Mars Inc., a globally recognized producer of confectionary and food products. Janmedia was chosen by Mars to design and coordinate the internet branding and web deployment of a new cross-European brand, Perfect Fit.

Perfect Fit is a unique premium cat food product developed to meet a cat’s innate nutritional requirements. Perfect Fit’s target audience consists of active and health minded pet owners who enjoy a close bond with their pets. Janmedia has teamed with Mars to conduct comprehensive information architecture, and subsequent web branding and design for various new product websites. The goal of this collaboration is to ensure that information is disseminated in an optimal manner across the wide range of diverse European markets.

One of the bigger challenges of this web project was that our work was carried out simultaneously in three different languages: Italian, German and English; with the final deliverables being composed of a comprehensive set of multi-lingual graphic designs. Upon completion of these sites, Janmedia distributed master files to various Mars operating units for localized implementation via targeted Perfect Fit websites throughout the European Union.

In addition to the global Perfect Fit web sites referenced above, Janmedia implemented a product site specifically designed for Perfect Fit’s Italian market (www.perfect-fit.it). The new site was implemented utilizing progressive web development methodologies which ensured that the end user experience remains dynamic and flexible. One of our main priorities was producing a captivating end-user experience while at the same time ensuring optimal, easy to use architecture so that site visitors avoid difficulty finding relevant information.
