Washington, DC, Feb 10, 2005 - Washington area based Janmedia Interactive Agency teams up with the National Coalition of STD Directors (NCSD) to create a new website that will provide valuable communication tools and resources for its members. The purpose of the site is to facilitate NCSD's goal of providing adequate resources for STD treatment and prevention using various mediums. It also allows people who have STDs and their loved ones to seek others in similar situations for support and advice. In order to accomplish this, Janmedia is creating a web solution with a password protected extranet system that allows members to use features like discussion boards, file sharing, news and updates on STD related topics.

The project includes a complete rebranding of the organization's online image, development of an integrated extranet system, and integration with an in-house database system. The resulting application will be based on the Rainforest Content Management Platform, empowering NCSD to effectively manage the entirely of the system in-house, reducing cost exposure and improving data management process.
