Washington DC – August 12, 2009: Janmedia is excited to announce the recent deployment of the Investment Company Institute’s new global website. Janmedia Interactive, a digital agency headquartered in the Washington DC area, architected the redesigned User Interface; helping to strengthen ICI’s digital brand and improve web-based interaction with its membership.

ICI first came to Janmedia looking for ways to improve both aesthetically and functionally its existing application. With a primary goal of streamlining participation between its flagship website and its community of members, Janmedia’s initial efforts were focused upon composing a new product blueprint for the home and core subsequent pages grounded within the principals of usability and a simplified, deliberate flow of site content.

Once identifying the appropriate layout meeting both functional and usability requirements, Janmedia turned its attention towards graphically composing a User Interface for the new application. With an effective blueprint in place, Janmedia was able to successfully provide a fresh interpretation of the ICI brand while improving the overall usability and content distribution within the website. These implemented solutions have paved the way for a greater user experience and ultimately further galvanizing the system’s relationship with its membership community.

ICI is a national association of U.S. investment companies, including mutual funds, closed-end funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and unit investment trusts (UITs).
